All of the PS controllers in our systems are custom-built and act as the brains ensuring that the power is generated in the most efficient and optimal way. This is to ensure that the system is minimising the run time of the generator, by utilising the battery bank as the main source of power.
The generator only runs for short periods to supply the batteries with power, and the PS system will learn what power requirements each site has and when to ensure the generator is only running during sociable hours.
Additional power generation sources, such as solar integration, are also available, allowing the batteries to be powered by renewable energy and enabling the generator to act only as a backup power source when needed.
